The Logies (our version of the Emmies, with a few films thrown in) are happening on Sunday (7 May) at the Crown Casino in Melbourne. If you're anywhere near Southbank(and I'm sure there are lots of tourists here for the Melbourne International Comedy Festival which is also on at the moment) don't forget to join the gawkers at the red carpet. Joan Rivers is visiting Melbourne at the moment and will apparently be running the commentary on the carpet as is her specialty.
Let us know if you go and who you see!

Hi Elle
I am actually staying overnight at crown that night...Cant wait! Joan rivers looks terrible dosent she? I saw a pic of her in the paper the other day and she dosent even look real anymore...she looks like she has a permenant supprised look on her face. So sad that she did not know when to stop with the surgery.

Ooh Freespirit, how cool is that? <img src="/images/graemlins/cool.gif" alt="" /> Let us know what you see! We want all the dirty gossip...
When I saw Joan Rivers being interviewed the other day, I actually thought at first that they were talking to Jocelyn Wildenstein (aka Bride of Wildenstein, aka the woman who had plastic surgery to make her look more like her cat).

Hi Elle - I had a great time at crown as always...Hubby and I stay there every couple of months as a treat for ourselves...We are always going away on trips of some kind or another but we like the night life there so we just love southgate!
Well the logies were great! I watched them all walk in from the hotel foyer and then we went up to the first floor lobby and got a even better view. SOme of the gowns were gourgeous!
We will be back there again for my birthday so have booked it for the night of aug 16th! cant wait...Our friends are so envious of what we do but if they decided not to have children this could have been their life to....We would not have it any other way.
I thought Kate Ritchie was a very worthy winner as she has worked so hard.I could not belive how tiny she was in person.there was nothing of her!! lol...
I am just so glad Bec cathright did not win anything.I so cant stand her! How pathetic was it for them to bring their baby on stage? It was aclear case of exploitation in my opinion."trophy baby" lol....
Have a great day.
