Does anyone know of some good freeware (or even cheap shareware) for backing up my home PC? I have a lot of music on my machine that I've downloaded (legally!!!) and I'd hate to lose it if my laptop crashes. Right now, I'm doing the old copy-and-paste to an external hard-drive, but I'd like to have some software to manage the process. Any suggestions?

Your machine may have the ability to create backups.. What operating system are you running? Windows 98, 2000, XP ?

Side note.. Your best bet may be to find a good used exterior hard drive for fifty bucks. Copy everything to the new hard drive, and you will have an easy transfer when you get a new comp one day - down the road.
