Hello I am new here and i honestly am just so scared and upset so i needed somewhere i could just talk to others in the same situation i am. My Husband is deployed to iraq since march and we found out we where pregnant the day he left we where so excited we do have three older children and we planned this baby so when he came home we would be having our little one, everything was going good then saturday i was spotting and went to er never happend with other so was worried did us and baby was fine 8 weeks with a heartbeat told to go home should be fine well on monday was not better so went to my ob and another us the heartbeat had stopped and there was bleeding around the baby doctor said let things go naturally and call if bleeding got very bad well tuesday evening for about 5 hours i cramped and bleed so bad and I lost the baby this has been so hard on me since he is gone and i dont have anyone else to talk to friends dont understand just say well you can try again when he returns, I never thought of how painful this must be for someone and noone could understand unless they have dealt with this as well i am just realy hurt and feel guilty. SOrry so long but needed to get some of this out

Oh you poor woman! I am so sorry for your loss. I haven't experienced miscarriage personally, so I can't say that I know how you must be feeling, but it must be very painful. I really don't think that you should be feeling guilty, you know. You have nothing to feel guilty about, and a whole life of potential before you. I can't think of any practical advice to give you other than to concentrate on feelings of love that you already have within your life - maybe the more you concentrate on that, the less painful it will feel. At least I hope so. I am sending you thoughts of healing and my prayers.

This is awful... i find it astonishing and extraordianry that through all of this you still have the presence of mind to come in on a forum and post this message...
Going on the internet at such a harrowing time would be the very last thing on MY mind....

You must seek some professional help for this... You cannot carry a burden like this on your own.

first of all let me send you a big hug,as i am quite sure you need one right now! do you have family or friends for support? i have been through two miscarriages in 8 months the last one being just before christmas he was due end of june! so i have some idea what you are going through!
it will take a while for your body to settle down so try to take it easy for a while.
as for feeling guilty dont as it IS NOT YOUR FAULT!!
as i found there is nothing you could have possibly done to make things any different.
you need to grieve for your loss so it is ok to feel angry hurt or anything else you may feel.write it all down in a journal it helps.
dont bottle it up as it will only make things harder later
try to find yourself some support, try miscarriage assocation, also forums on internet
