Oh noooo! I finished the clever little
ski hat I was knitting for myself, and it's
tooo BIG! Yes - I did do a swatch and
I thought I had adjusted the gauge to the
yarn I used -- (please see "What's your worst
knitting habit?" discussion) but alas -
I look like that kid from the Fat Albert show
whose cap goes over his face!

SO - I'm thinking of felting it, since I don't
know any giants with a birthday coming up (or
who ski) -- but it is a seed-stitch and knit
row pattern -- will that be a disaster?

Any input is greatly appreciated!

Just make sure you are using 100%wool or it won't felt. You put it thru one wash and try it, you may only have to "full" it.

I'm not sure it's small enough... it's an
improvement and it looks really cute! Totally
different than the original plan, but at
least salvagable (sp).
