Andy White, at 32, Glasgow-born drummer in a bagpipe band, in British Isles was phoned and asked by EMI (British record label) to come to London to play drums for a pop group, at unionscale, on 7/25/62. He was surprised to find Paul, John, George and the newest member (Ringo), who was considered too "new" to cut a record, just observing!
