I had a lovely bit of guidance last night. I was training teachers for a charity down in South Wales today & had been provided with a room at a B&B for the night so that I would arrive fresh as a daisy <img src="/images/graemlins/wink.gif" alt="" />
Well by the time I left to drive down there it was already dark & it was a long drive. The B&B was in a tiny coastal village. Try as I might I couldn't find the unclassified road from a tangle of big main roads, dual carriageways & motorway junctions. I'd been going backwards & forwards for over half an hour just trying to pick up a signpost & was getting 'close to the edge'. I was very tired & fed up. In the end I stopped at a red light & shouted out, "Please help me now!" as I looked there was a tiny white signpost to the village right ahead of me, so small I could easily have missed it. How many times do they have to say it, "We will help you when you ask!"

HA HA... so true Lauren. I love your story. So how was the B&B? I remember several years ago going through a crisis. I'd prayed and prayed. As I sat in my bathroom crying I yelled at God and the Angels "a fat lot of good you all are doing me!" I then received what felt like a blow to the side of the head, except there was no pain, only some stars, and I reeled slightly sideways. I heard very clearly "that's because you won't let us help you." I sat there very humbled, then broke out in laughter!!! LOL. YES! One must ask for help, indeed, but then we must also let go and let the help happen <img src="/images/graemlins/shocked.gif" alt="" />

After that journey Deanna, almost anything would have been a relief. The B&B was basic, but warm & dry. Thank goodness the venue for the training was much easier to find!
Love your story...lol, they really need endless patience with us don't they?

It also helps to take a deep breath... to oxygenate the brain and also help focus the eyes.... a big dolop of patience helps, too.
