BellaOnline Forums Home and Garden Cleaning Getting Silly Putty Out of Cloth

My Daughter received some Silly Putty from my Mother-in-law and without my knowledge decided she could take it to bed with her. Needless to say it is stuck to her comforter, her PJ's and a shirt that was just an innocent bystander. I have no idea what to use to remove this. It was also a bright florescent Pink and appears to have stained the fabric on top of it. Please HELP!!

Thanks so much for your quick reponse. At this point I will try just about anything. I fact I have even had thoughts that I am just going to have to buy her another comforter. lol. I will give that a try and let you know how it goes!!

Another option for sticky and greasy stains is a liquid called Goo Gone...i was apprehensive because it seems oily itself, but it washes out. Worked on candle wax stains for me...Good Luck. <img src="/images/graemlins/smirk.gif" alt="" />
