i started belly dancing for exercise 3 yrs ago, dropped 20 lbs but I keep having these babies inbetween, LOL!

I'm enrolling in prenatal bellydancing, the moves are fantastic during labor!

Thanks, alicat and Meg! Bellydance is great for losing weight. Your body changes without you having to really try and you're having a blast! One of our girls has lost 30 pounds.

Wouldya believe I'm actually trying to gain a little. Even after 3 kids I really don't have any hips. I noticed that my waist was more defined after about 2 months and my belly's getting more muscular all the time.

Meg, I'm really interested in how the prenatal dancing works for you since there's a lot of info out there saying that bellydance was used as a childbirth ritual or for preparation <img src="/images/graemlins/cool.gif" alt="" />

I'm Colombian, like Shakira....and I can't help it, when I hear music my hips begin to dance....but I prefer salsa.
