I just saw this movie Only Angels Have Wings, a Howard Hawks film and one of the few dramatic roles Carey Grant played, it was pretty good. Anyone else seen this movie?
I really think Hollywood missed out on some great opportunities by not offering Carey Grant more dramatic roles, not that he isn't fabulous in romantic comedies, but he had more range than he was given credit for.

I have not seen it yet. It is on my to do list. I love Cary Grant though. I have to see this one soon.

It's got alot of other great people in it too including Jean Arthur but Cary Grant is just always so fun to watch no matter what he's doing isn't he?

He is. When I am reviewing movies, it is hard not to just review his movies, because they are so fun to watch. He makes it look so easy. I will have to move it to the top of my Netflix list.

I just watched Only Angels last night. I really liked it. I thought Cary's part has his charm. It shows his wit, but not in the slap stick way. It was a good part for him.

Thanks. He played Scarlett's dad. I like to look through to figure out who everyone is when I watch movies. I hate seeing someone and not remembering who they are.
