I just got it at home on Saturday, and I have to say, I'm not overwhelmed. I may like sweaters that are high fashion, but I'm going to wear sweaters that are high function, if you know what I mean! (Really, who wants to see my mother-of-two tummy hanging out below those cropped sweaters?!?!?!)

There was one cute felted bag with funky polka dots (a good practice piece for learning intarsia), and one other cardigan, but that's about it.

What did the rest of you think?

I don't have a subscription yet and honestly that has been my reason for not getting one. Some issues are really great and others are just "OK". As soon as it hits the bookstore here I will give you my very honest opinion.

This has been the problem with many of the designs in the new knitting magazines and books. Much of the stuff is beautiful-- on the model wearing it.

For the rest of us, it's simply not functional wear.

Don't EVEN get me started on the cropped sweaters. I hate
'em, and I don't know why designers think they are so appealing. Even if you're a size 2, why do I want to look at your stomach or your rear when you bend over?

I'm with you on that one. And I know this is probably going to sound weird but the other day I saw someone bend over and yes I say the THONG, but I thought to myself they must of felt a draft for goodness sake. I am the proud wearer of "granny pantys" and I would certain know if parts of me were hanging out of my pants, hehehehehehe.
