For Christmas we got the CD set "The Limited Series", and think its great, good mix of old and new stuff. Any other Garth fans out there? <img src="/images/graemlins/music.gif" alt="" />

I have the original box set that Garth put out years ago. I haven't gotten the new one, it seemed like a waste if I already had most of the songs. I'm waiting on the CD that is supposed to be coming out with the songs not in the original box set.

I've always liked Garth and his music. I never understood the problem that alot of country fans had with him, granted he isn't the best singer, but he can put on one heck of a show!

Im a country fan ... Garth when he started his career on stage came out like a hard rocker ... took awhile to see a country guy all over the stage ... now looking back HE was having fun, and taking country to a new level, now that the shock is over, I enjoy seeing him all over the stage, or wish he'd do live shows again. His shows are filled with energy

I saw him when he was first starting out and he was definately a shock. He was playing on a full bill with The Judds, Alabama and a bunch more, it was a long night but well worth it!

When we saw him on the CMA's performing his song for Chris LeDoux it was wonderful to see that energy again. I know there are alot of people that don't care for him, but boy, his energy is contagious and he would be right back on top again.

Does anyone really believe that he is going to stay retired for another 10 years or so? He just married Trisha Yearwood, he's going to have to be on the road with her at least part of the time and that type of rush can't be something that is easy to resist. Guess we'll just have to wait and see.
