I have "More Language of Letting Go" by Melody Beattie. It's a compilation of daily meditations, with each month geared towards a specific topic (letting go of fear, finding motivation, etc.). They're just short one-page reads for each day of the year, but they're incredibly positive and motivational. I love her books.

Wow, if we keep this up, we'll have such a huge reading list...and they all sound terrific. Thanks, everyone, for some great titles.

I think I'm going to go for the Grabhorn book next--it sounds exactly like what I need right now, Donna, although the Williamson book also sounds very compelling, Starmom. But the Nelson book I just finished also deals with how feelings interplay with everything we do, so Grabhorn's book would probably be a good follow-up.

Thanks for the motivational recommendation, too, Trevy--I don't think we can ever get enough motivating help. When things are going well, we feel motivated, but when things aren't so obviously positive, a book like this one can make the difference in helping us to keep going, you know?

I do the same thing you do, Starmom--alternate. I just picked up Christopher Moore's latest novel (A Dirty Job). If you like absurd stuff, his books are really funny. However, I didn't like his last two books before that (Lamb and The Stupidist Angel).

And I'll recommend that Shiloh book to my husband, Tina. He's a Civil War buff (history major in college), and it sounds like something we'd both enjoy.

I have three on the go at the moment...a bodice-ripper called Wild Rose, Romo Dallaire's book about his experience in Rwanda and a Wicca encylopedia.

I've been immersed in reviewing books: The Why Cafe by John Strelecky (if I give a bad review, will it mess up my Karma??) and The Queen of My Self by Donna Henes for which I will post a review in a week or two! But I've also discovered a fun gemstone book: Love is in the Earth, A Kaleidoscope of Crystals, by Melody.

I'm reading Eat, Pray, Love by Elizabeth Gilbert - awesome book - she visits 3 countries in a year - Italy, India, and Indonesia - and --well, eats, prays and loves...

she's funny and has loads of encouragement and inspiration to share about doing what feels right.

I haven't read a book in years, this is sad because I love reading and also because reading is an excellent way to pass the time.

I am reading "Jesus the Christ" by James Talmage. I deep, wonderful book about Christ. It is so wonderful, I love to learn about the Savior, his life and miracles.
