I just wanted to share something really neat. Last year about this time I read a book called "Write It Down, Make It Happen". It is, obviously, about writing down your goals to help you realize them. Well, I read the book, wrote down my goals, got busy with my life and promptly forgot about the whole thing. <img src="/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" />
At the end of 2005 I was reviewing my journal and came across the goals I had written. I was shocked to discover that I had accomplished all but one of them. Here are the main goals I wrote down that actually happened.
1. To own a diesel truck (It's bought and paid for)
2. To own a fifth wheel (It's bought and paid for too)
3. To have at least $50,000.00 more in assets by 2006 (We have that)
4. To create at least $1,500.00 passive income per month (We now have around $2,000.00 a month in passive income coming in)
I was blown away when I read this and realized that it had all happened. There were other goals that happened too, related to health and relationships.
Needless to say, when I discovered this list I decided right then and there to get out the book, review it again, and write new goals for 2006.
Has anyone else ever tried this practice and if so how did it work for you? I hope that by sharing this someone else will try it and have as great a success as I had.
I'd be interested in your feedback on any efforts you've made in this area.
