Ok i've already beat FFX twice and im playing it again for lack of money....but something still bugs me that isn't mentioned in lisa's walkthrough(which by the way is super helpful)

In the Northwest corner of the calm lands there is a pathway that somebodies gaurding and says he wont leave unless something incredible happens. I hope im being clear on this and would greatly apprieciate information on this part of the game. <img src="/images/graemlins/wall.gif" alt="" />

Well after two days of checking this forum to see if anybody could answer my question I took the liberty to rely on my own problem solving skills.

But to people who view this post I will answer my own question:

You see, I never had aquired the ultimate weapons before...I just blast through the game without becoming as strong as a god. The man blocking the path in the calm lands leaves if you complete the cocobo challenge.

Also my apologies to lisa and her walkthrough for this information is there but not where I was trying to look

hi um.... do u noe anythin about obtainin anima and the things we have to do????

You get Anima by boading the airship and setting coordinates for Baaj Temple - The place where Tidus first entered Spira. After talking with Cid, put in X coordinate between 11~16 and Y coordinate between 57~63. You dive into the water where Tidus got attacked by that big water fiend, and you have to fight him. After that, go in the same tunnel Tidus did to escape the fiend at the start of the game and you will find a door to the room with the fayth, but you need to get all the treasures from the 5 temples, plus 1 from Zanarkand. Don't worry, you can go back and get all of these treasures but don't bother going to Bevelle because you have to use the destruction sphere to finish it anyway.
