I am a good manners fanatic. I do my best to remember to say the basics, please, thank you, hello, and most importantly excuse me. I have found that good manners are mostly modeled. Very often if you show good manners to children and gently remind them use their manners, it becomes habit.
I'm also a huge fan of eye contact during a conversation. I feel when someone looks you in the eye when they speak, it shows confidence. This can be practiced when ordering at restraunts or when speaking in the class room.
