I've been knocking around a present idea of a knitted 'soap pouch' for family members.

I've already bought the nice fancy soap.

I just haven't seen a pattern to use, and will probably just make it up off the top of my head.

It's only December 5th, and I want to make 7 of them . . . IT COULD HAPPEN!! Hahahaaa

Out of desperation, I just bought some chunky yard to knit my dad and my brother scarves. I needed to "top off" my dad's present, and since my brother is nearly too picky to buy for, I think a scarf will accompany a gift card for him. Maybe that'll teach him about dropping good hints this time of year!

So now I need to get out some big needles and get busy! (Too bad I'm at work . . . .)

You will do it at midnight <img src="/images/graemlins/frown.gif" alt="" /> When my older son was little that was the ONLY time I could do it, the little stinker would stay up and stay up, I would send him to bed and wait for about an hour, then I would sneak (or I thought I was sneaking) to get things out and the little stinker would come running in to my room, eyes all wide saying "did you hear that he's coming, he's coming tonight" so I would just have to wait until he was good and asleep. Thank goodness my second child sleeps like a log !!!!

I'm knitting little finger puppets. I got some wild yarn for the hair. It looks cute! I have about four to go ... so that's not so bad.
