When the other planets begin retrograde motion, is there any effect, for better or worse, or is Mercury the only planet? Mercury is the only one I ever hear mentioned in regards to being retrograde. My friend is always saying OMG! Mercury is going retrograde and our communication is going to mess up, and the cell phones, and the electronics, and we will be late and blah blah and it is like he is planning on this happening automatically. Saturn will begin retrograde motion tomorrow, and Venus in December. Should we be aware of this, astrologically speaking?

When I posted this question I knew very little about astrology. I thought I was asking a simple yes or no question. In my pursuit of finding the answer to this question I have read a lot about astrology from a lot of different sites. I now know quite a bit more about the subject, and I found the answer to my question.
