I am a professional Naturalist Illustrator and have sketchbooks full of rough sketchs, scribbles and even some beautifully finished watercolor renderings of birds. Hoping there must be others intrigued with the idea of a drawing and painting class focused soley on the subject of birds, I proposed the idea to the local community college and am thrilled that the class has a waiting list of enthusiasts! That tells me there must be others all over who want to uncover thier artistic talent...but not drawing chairs, or landscapes, or portraits. This class is actually called 'Drawing and Painting Birds and Butterflies'and it is for the absolute novice. I travel/exhibit/teach from coast to coast so please inquire about me teaching to your group or community. I will post some photos of my work at a later date.
