I am making a pair of baby mittens (the ones with no thumbs) and I am wondering how long to make the cord that will go through the jacket sleeves. (so the mittens won't fall off baby) Baby is about 8 months old. I am not sure how long to make the cord. If anyone has any ideas, I would really appreciate it.

I am searching for a size chart, I will have an answer for you asap. GO IT <img src="/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" /> Ok according to a standardize chart, sleeve length for a 6 month old is 6 1/2 and the center back is 11 1/2 and for a 12 month old it is 7 1/2 sleeve and the center 12 1/2 so I would suggest going inbetween : 7 for each sleeve 12 for the back total = 28 so I would add about 4 inches to that = 32 inches.
