He didn't want to, so he got swallowed ba a great fish (some say whale) and he said "OK, sorry, I'll go" and the fish spat him out, and he went.

lynne, you really must be more specific with these questions! LOL Daniel did a TON of stuff.
But this time I'm going to assume you're referring to him being thrown in the lion's den for not bowing down to the king's idol, that his priest's tricked the king into signing a decree for because they were jealous of Daniel
