Peg, How did the thick single turn out which you were going to dye, from your post in September? Have you actually knitted any yet, and did you leave it as a single. It sounded wonderful at the time so I am just curious.

Hi Sara!
I have two full bobbins of singles spun and sitting there looking back at me. They are not as thick as I'd hoped and I'm trying to decide if I want to ply them now or not. The wool has quite a few shorter fibers in it, I realized that as I was spinning, so plying would add strength as well.

And I'm finishing up knitting the 4th baby set. That's has kept me very busy! Why is it that babies always arrive in batches? I was invited to 4 baby showers in 7 weeks. It's fun to knit those little garments, but 4 in a row is a little much.

So I need to get back to my spinning. I'm strongly leaning toward plying at this point.
