i just recently bleached my hair (a process i am not new to) but this time i overbleached...and my scalp has a weird tightness and mild soreness to it. Can someone please tell me this is common, or at least heard of and suggest remedies...etc. it's really starting to scare me

The first thing that comes to my mind is that bleaching dries out the hair and possibly the scalp. You might want to use some moisturizing shampoo and conditioner, especially products for colored/bleached/damaged hair.

Guess what? I give massages and reiki. More info here!

The skin of your scalp can become dry and irritated just like the skin of your face. Use good quality moisturizing conditioners on it. It should recover in a week or two.
However, when you bleach your hair again, you run the risk of drying your scalp out again.

Was the bleach left on longer than usual?
Did you use a stronger product than usual?

If you bleach your hair regularly and this is the first time it has happened, you may have become sensitive to the bleach. If you think that is the case, consider alternative hair color methods - such as highlighting.
