I've been trying to figure out a way to build a playstand for my conure. I've found a website that sells manzanita wood branches and trees for do-it-yourself projects and that would work for the actual stand. But I can't find a large plastic panel for the base that is heavy enough to balance out the weight of the manzanita tree <img src="/images/graemlins/frown.gif" alt="" /> Does anyone have any ideas?

I make lots of playstands and use wood bases covered in 12" linoleum squares or plastic placemats. Here's a few:

Thanks for the pics. That does give some ideas <img src="/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" /> I'd like to make something large, about 4-5 ft. tall. I've just never built anything like this before. I'll figure something out, eventually. <img src="/images/graemlins/smirk.gif" alt="" />
