i have a parakeet and at times when i have her out of the cage and with me on my shoulder shell do something that confuses me and wonder why she does this. shell chirp and ill whistle in response then shell come right up to my lips and fluff up bob her head up and down and press her beak against my lips. shell do this for awhile then stop and after a bit does it again. why does she do this. i hope i did this to where you understand on what she does. thanks karen

Please make sure you keep your mouth closed so that she can't get any of your saliva. You have bacteria in your mouth that could make your Budgie ill.

thanks for the help. i do keep my mouth shut and lips sealed while she does do that. karen
