Hello neighbor!
I read the two articles, but still dont "get it." Sometimes in this dream, we will all walk down to the lake and I will tell everyone to stay back away from the water, but they ignore my request...I warn them of the gators, but they dont seem to be afraid until its too late...could this mean that in "real life" I feel like nobody listens to what I have to say? Im just really confused and Im afraid of having the dream (nightmare) again.
Thanks!
LOL, Kim - forgive me for giggling, but sometimes I feel like no one wants to hear what I have to say, either!
This could mean several things. What I'm getting on the surface is that you want to protect your family from something that they could care less about. What's going on in your life that you worry will affect your family? Is there a legal issue? Lawyers have been compared to everything from sharks to snakes!
Maybe your fear is genuine, possibly you know for sure that something or someone is a threat, or perhaps you are unnecessarily afraid. Your family members may actually symbolize aspects of yourself, so take a look at that as well.
Put that together with what you already have and see if it make sense. Also......can you connect events in your life to times that this dream has recurrred? For instance, when it's especially stressful at work, when you or someone else is ill or even when you're menstruating.....or when something that brings up past trauma occurs.
I encourage folks to take a stab at interpretation because you are the best interpreter of your own dream - with some practice you'll get the hang of it, so I hope you'll visit often!
