i have this connection and event whos should be done in asp

You don't give ANY information there <img src="/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" /> All you give is the SQL text line, and then an execute statement. You don't say at all how you set up the ADO object which is what the error is saying. It's saying that you are not setting up the object properly to do an update style statement on your database.

Also, just what is the key of that table??? I don't see anything in there that could be a key, unless you have a Unique ID field on that table?
