I am hoping someone can help me with the Lion Brand crochet pattern for the Coming Home poncho. I am at the end of round 2 where it states: 24 blocks; 2 corners. I understand what a block entails but what does the 2 corners mean. Does the 24 blocks include the two corners I already did or do I make two more corners? This is only my second time reading a pattern so I do appreciate any help you can give me.

Thank you,
Monique

The 24 blocks includes the 2 blocks that form each corner.
I made this poncho only once because the homespun yarn gave me a headache trying to work with it. It's easier to make it with a worsted weight yarn, especially when you get to the scalloping at the end. <img src="/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" /> Good luck!

I haven't made this one either but my daughter wants it so I'll either be posting pictures or lots of questions very shortly.

Corners are the front and back points, and are probably included in the blocks. Made my own version of the poncho that was very much the same except for the scallops (I just did groups of 7 dc, 1 sc alternatively) and it turned out just as nice.

I did...you can see a picture of it on my website. It was a fairly easy pattern. I don't like the color yarn I used, but I do like the poncho pattern itself.

Actually I liked the color you used. It would go well with any other color and great with jeans.
