I'm a 13 year old girl with a BIG problem. People at my school have been making fun of me because of my body. I'm small for my age (4 ft 11 inches), & I have HUGE boobs. I wear a size 36c bra. The other kids at school & even a few of the teachers make rude & insulting comments about me behind my back. I overhear them talk about me all the time. Almost every afternoon, I come home from school & go into my room & cry because of the comments people make about me. It's not my fault my body is the way it is. What can I do to make people not make fun of me??

For one, if the teachers are making comments, you need to go to the principle. Their job is to help you with your self esteem not knock you down. As for the other kids, I know this is easier said then done, but ignoring them is the best thing to do unless it is getting physical like them trying to touch you in an inappropiate way. I got picked on all the time in school because i had a lazy eye. I would ignore it and they would stop after a few days. It seems like they would go thru a cycle of people that would get picked on for the week. I don't know why kids are like this. I have read from many psychological stances that it begins at home. If the parents pick on the kids or allow siblings to pick on each other, it spills over into the school.

All of the school shootings we hear about are from kids being bullied and picked on. While many schools are implememnting programs to deter bullying and making fun of each other, I think parents need to be more involved with their kids too. Too many parents just let their kids go.

{{{{{{{{{{{{{{{{{bigboobs92)))))))))))) hugs to you youngin.

Jeanette is right. Go to your principle. The teachers should not be making fun of you. They are wrong!! <GRRRRRRR>

Have you talked to your parents about this? What of your school councilor?

And, they wonder why there are so many school shootings. <shakes head>

Also, talk to your family doctor about this. She/he can help you or send you to someone that can help you deal with this. Push comes to shove; breast reduction would be the last resort. And only one if it's really becoming a medical and physiological problem.

Good luck and let us know how you are doing. Don't forget, you are better than them and beautiful!!! <img src="/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" />

also, tell them that they are just jealous with you because you got a better body than they do

Auron: I was just a boy, trying to change the world, but i changed nothing.
Tidus: for the first time I'm glad to have you as my father.
Yuna: the people and the friends that we have lost, or the dreams that have faded...never forget them

lol..that's just what I was going to say!

I was a lot like you when I was a teen..'well endowed'! blah!..hated it!! I wore the baggiest shirts I could find all the time..and hunched my shoulders in at an attempt to shrink the horrid things!..lol

this will mean very little to you right now..but later on down the road you'll realize just how lucky you are ...and others will be very envious of you. And you're right..it's not your fault..in fact, it's not a fault at all.

p.s.
36c is a perfect size..be proud of girlie! <img src="/images/graemlins/wink.gif" alt="" />

That's not right for teachers to make fun of you. It's not like you can help it. I have a friend who is your height (she's 4'11") and she had 40DDs. She ended up getting a breast reduction when she was 23 and was so thrilled with the results. Her back didn't hurt anymore and people actually looked at her face when she was talking, not her chest. You're probably way too young for surgery to be an option yet, but you might grow into them too. You're hitting puberty and stuff sometimes grows at different rates. I was lucky like you...I sprouted breasts early and was the only third-grader who needed a training bra. Mine never got really big though, and when I lost weight and got healthier, my boobs shrank a bit and I'm now a 32A. Whatever your bra size is, they're beautiful and they're what make you a female <img src="/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" />
