I also loved Spirited Away. It was extremely intriguing and beyond my expectations. If you liked that movie, try any of Miyazaki, Hayao films. His films always feature a heroine and have fascinating, mysterious worlds to discover. My favorite was Kaze no Tani no Naushika. Im not sure what the English title is but mabye, Naushika of the Wind Valley? Another one is Lapyuta. Enlish title: Castle in the Sky. Probably the most loved Miyazaki film is Majo no Takyubin. English title: maybe Witch Delivery or Kiki, the Witch? A kids favorite is Tonari no Totoro. English title: Totoro?

You cant miss with any of those Miyazaki, Hayao films. They are all good.

try "grave of the fireflies", it will make you cry.. oh yeah, kite, i never get bored of watching it eventhough i have watched it like 5 times. what else... if you don't mind watching long anime, try "touch" it's by mitsuru adachi, it's very very good though it's kinda of slow pace, you can download it at animesuki.com. you can also find fullmoon wo sagashite at same website, it's very good, too

Another Miyazaki flick I'd recommend if you liked "Spirited Away" is my personal favorite, "Princess Mononoke." In fact, I love "Spirited Away" but I like "Princes Mononoke" even better!

It's not too hard to find - Blockbuster even has it. A few years ago, they dubbed the voices with prominent US actors, including Billy Bob Thornton and Clair Danes. (Or is that Claire?)

Howl's Moving Castle is a great movie in my opinion. I had to watch it on my computer because it was out of theaters so quickly. It didn't follow the whole plot of the book but it was still really good. I highly recommend it.

I'm bad with remembering all the titles))

everybody like Ghost In The Shell. terrific sci-fi anime

try to find Manie-Manie Labyrinth Tales, Robot Carnival and short movie Comedy.
also Cowboy BeeBop and Samurai Champloo - it's TV series.

Totoro is a good choice, especially for kids;)

Grave of the Fireflies made me cry all the way until the end! There was no happy moment for them *sniff!*

I agree, Miyazaki films are so cool. Spirited Away, Howl's Moving Castle and My Friend Totoro are great.

FF-Advent Children had really great 3D animation. Sephiroth was cool, hehe!

One of my favorite anime movies is Full Metal Alchemist - The Conqueror of Shamballa. Though I would recommend watching the complete series first (52 episodes), because the plot happen years after the ending of the series. I watched the movie first before the series... it made me buy the FMA series DVD. smile

Tokyo Godfathers by Satoshi Kon is also interesting. More of the comedy-drama thing. His other work, Perfect Blue, kinda creeped me out though.
