What is a fat stereotype you've been put into?

That is a good question,
People can not seem to think I can run. I had a friend in college who was joking around and took of running well I went right after her and caught her. She was in awe because she could not think I could keep up.
I'm hard to remember, but I'm impossible to forget.

I do believe that a lot of the non-fat actually think that the "fat and happy" moniker Should apply..WOW! are they wrong if they try to apply it to me...I have seen the fat and the meek on numerous occasions. I have a friend who has been fighting the old,"they(whoever 'they' are)all think I am stupid because I am fat"...Now I have watched her be everything from hostile to downright vicious for no reason I could discern and I was right there with her...is it possible that we are somehow more of whatever the rest of humanity happens to be because we are larger??? I doubt it...but there are those who do live in another reality!

I hate the stereotype that just because I am fat people think I like to eat a lot. I have had people watch me eat and if I don't eat as much as they think I should they ask "that's all you are going to eat?" and some people add on "you must finally be on a diet then". That is so friggin irritating!

The people who assume I am out of shape. I walk an hour every day and work out a few times a week on top of that. I can slap my roller blades on and skate the 11 mile loop with no problem. Why are people so surprised? Or if they see me walking, they act like it is a new thing "oh I saw you starter walking, I am so proud of you".
BITE ME!
Naw.... I don't say that, I just think it... a LOT!

I hate that one too. I go to college and I am walking all the time. I walk from my house to my son's day care to drop him off then to the bus stop (that is about a 15 minute walk total) then I walk the 50 steps (yes 50! i counted them one morning LOL) up to the main building of the school. After that I am a little out of breath so I take the elevator to the third floor. Than I am all over the school for my 3 classes and I am an office gopher for 4 people at school. Then I walk back down the 50 stairs to the bus stop. My doctor even mentioned that she can tell that I walk alot because of how muscular my legs look. It is just a matter of losing my gut. She has ordered me to go get a thyroid test but I am so busy I can't do it until spring break in April. She said if i get it tested and get on some meds to treat it, I will loose 20 pounds in the first month and 1/2 to 2 months.
