Just curious what everyone is reading?
I'm reading The Blood of the Fold by Terry Goodkind (the third book in the Sword of Truth series) I'm not sure that I like it as much as the first two.

Christine Feehan at the moment, The Dark Series, and Sherilyn Kenyon, The Dark Hunter Series. Ok, they aren't SciFi, but Vampires and Vampire Hunters almost fit in..LOL!
I like them, some folks don't.

Sheri Tepper right now, The Visitor. If someone hasn't read something from her? Shame you. Her worlds and caracters are special.
I like her books.

The Soprano Sorceress by L. E. Modesitt, Jr. It's nice to have a heroine who's middle aged, even if transformed to appear young, who worries about her grown children and despairs of college politics - which are also transformed, but just as petty, in the alternate Medieval World she's been transported to.
And yes, if you haven't read Sheri Tepper, you have a real treat coming!

I haven't read Sheri Tepper, I'll have to visit the library (then the bookstore since our library has a pathetic SF/Fantasy section).
I just couldn't get through the Goodkind book, so I am now reading Ringworld's Children by Larry Niven

I love Terry Pratchett. I read the Dune books a while back and I've heard the new ones by Brian Herbert are good, so I may try one of those.
