<img src="/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" /> Just as the leaves start to turn into brilliant colours, which flowers are still blooming in your garden? Here in England my favourite of the moment are the dwarf cyclamens with their lovely pink blooms.

The Autumn leaves :music: of red and yellow :music:
The Autumn leaves of brown and gold :music:
This time of year always reminds me of that song! My favorite flowers this time of year are marigolds and periwinkles because they have made it through the summer. All the mums are starting to come up and I love all the golds, yellows, and purples that last through halloween!! <img src="/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" />

Right now I'm applauding the marigolds. They've hung on, may not be their best, but unless it gets really cold, they'll be here at Christmas, quite an achievement.
Yes, those baby cyclamen are out, have been for a while. I wish I could speed up their spread. I was lucky to get one bulb about 5 years ago and the little patch has doubled, but that would make it about 6 inches around. I wish I could cover at least 2 feet so everyone would get a good look at them.
Now that everyone in the pots is cut back and in their sunny, cold windows, it's lonely for the grower-person. So, the child of my heart did his best for my birthday. I have a Shrek Chia Pet!<G> So silly, but fun.
Soon it will be time to start new seeds.
We'll survive the winter.
Happy holidays,
Mary Ellen
