Dear Angeles, I have been confused about when a Verb is conjugated and when the whole infinitive it used instead. I beleive I have discovered what I have been doing wrong.
An Example: Yo hablo Espanola. The verb hablar is conjugated to the 1st person singular. But if I say Puedo hablar Espanola the verb hablar is changed to the infinitive.
I have been trying to conjugate both of these verbs (can) & (talk) into the first person singular.
So, evidently when two verbs come together in a sentence, then only the first verb is conjugated and the second verb is used in the infinitive.
I hope that I am making any sense at all (Ha) Thanks for your help.
Umpaw.

Hola!!!!

Sorry for the delay!

Ok, you're right!

In fact, that second verbs works as an object. It is the same as in English!

You got it! And without my help! ;-)

Hasta pronto!

Hola Angie,

First of all, this was a common cold!
(Lo primero, este fue un resfriado comn!)

Y gracias, me siento mucho mejor.
(And thanks! I feel much better)

Yes, "cunteme" means "tell me", that easy! ;-)
Is nearly the same as saying: "dgame"

Hasta pronto!
