Hi this is my first posting, I am a newbie. One thing that confuses me, is that sometimes I will see a sentence with subject, verb, direct object, etc. But instead of conjugating the verb like if it is in the firt person ( for example.) The whole infinitive for the verb is used. Is there any reason for this, and if so why? I am not talking about like the near future sometimes as like ( Voy a comer. - I am going to eat.)

Hola!

Well, could you write any example, something you have read, so that I can have a clear idea?

Yes, you're right, there are cases, as the one you gave (Voy a comer), where the use of the infinitive is correct.

Thanks!
