BellaOnline Forums Hobbies and Crafts Doll Making Fashion dolls question re hair

I was getting out some of my old fashion dolls earlier today and checking that the clothes are still OK - I had a major disaster a few years back when a lot of the hand knitted ones had to be thrown out due to moth so they get checked over every so often.

The thing is their hair is very untidy and I wondered if there was a way of getting it smooth and neat as you see in fashion doll outfit photographs? I don't like to attack it with a comb because I feel that could pull it right out!

I don't know the answer - it might depend on what the doll hair is made of.
