I am having to write about the similarities and differences of the lungs and kidney structure .
i am finding this absolutley impossible , got many books out of the library , searched the internett and there is still nothing !
can anyone help me ??

Hmm. Well, they are two of the main excretory organs of the body.

Both remove a waste product from the blood.

Both rely on many small repeated units to give a large surface area over which to transport substances

Both have other important functions besides excretion (gaining oxygen/osmoregulation respectively)

Differences include:

functionality - though both are excretory, they process blood in significnatly different ways.

location - kidneys are essentially part of the blood and veins netowrk, one stop along the way, while lungs are part of the resirpatory system.

Another similarity: We have two of each!!!
