That's what I figure, if you're going to dedicate time to searching the paper for coupons and specials to save money, spending a few cents on gas to drive to a second grocery store to save money would seem reasonable. It's time that saves you a good portion of your grocery bill.
I was initially going to do a week up for a "2 person household" but now in talking with another user I think I'll do at least 2 different runs. One will be the "2 person household" and then another will be for a "family of 2 parents 2 kids". I suppose a 3rd run I should do would be for the single low carber. So for each run we'll go to the supermarket, go shopping for a week's worth of food based on the coupons in the Sunday paper and their current specials. We'll see how it goes!!
To help me get an idea of what range to work on, could those of you already on a low carb diet post here for me the # of people in your family and your average weekly shopping bill for groceries only? That would be a great help, thanks!!
