What catches your attention? What keeps you watching?

I don't watch a lot of TV but when I do it's about the plot and not about who is in it. The only series I really aimed to be home for was the Sopranos which had an excellent cast but most of them were unknowns when it began. That's really the only series I've "followed" in the past few years.

I have to agree, The Sopranos has a great ensemble cast. I somehow missed the first season, but got hooked the second season when my hubby found it. We have to have the satellite dish programed to go to HBO on Sunday nights just for him..LOL! Another one he likes is Six Feet Under. The newest one I have been watching is on Showtime, Dead Like Me, that one is funny without being totally morbid considering the type of "work" the cast is doing.

I would have to say that this household watches series mostly for the storylines. And while we do watch alot of the shows on the pay channels, there are alot that we watch on the "mainstream" channels too. I can't wait for Judging Amy to premiere, I want to know what happens with Amy, Jillian and everyone. I am also waiting very impatiently for Jeremiah to start again, that is one that I started watching because it has Luke Perry in it and quickly got drawn into the storylines.
