Uh-oh. Can I be arrested as an accessory to a crime? As I opened the shutter slats on my bedroom window this morning, what did I see on the outside ledge but another remnant of a bread roll. This one was smaller than the usual dinner roll; it was a small, round, bite-sized biscuit-type roll. There were a few bites missing from it but it was otherwise intact.
Let me review, for those of you unfamiliar with this mysterious bit of history:
Found, in my plant boxes over the past year, year and a half:
* several half-eaten dinner rolls, *hidden*, for future use
* on the slanty ledge outside one bedroom window, a whole, untouched, fresh homemade chocolate chip cookie (picture on this board, as proof!)
* and now, outside my bedroom window (a favourite harbour from the elements for local squirrels, btw <img src="/images/graemlins/wink.gif" alt="" /> ), this biscuit-roll
What's next, a full course meal??
