Hello! I've just posted a 9 part series I've written about Stress Relief. Here's the introductory article: Stress Relief - The Four Types of Stress The other 8 links are listed at the end of that article, and are on each subsequent article. I cover things like vitamins and herbs, caffeine and sleep (or lack thereof!), laughter, massage, and more. I hope you find it insightful and beneficial for providing stress relief for both the short and long terms.

I always have Hyperstress and sometimes Distress. I'm gonna print out and memorize stress-relief ways. I'd sign up for Tai-Chi, but the time is tight as it is...

I hope you find them helpful, Ice! Personally, I've been imbibing on Elm Flower Essence. I really, really love to write so sometimes it's hard to tear myself away. I was re-reading the Elm issues in Vennels book and I was blown away at how it described my current state. Here, I had been taken it intuitively, just knowing it was good for stress!

I loved the articles, they were great!! Talk about practical advice that can really help your day to day life
What we need are a whole collection of 10-minute exercises that you can do while waiting in line, driving your car, waiting for a show to begin, etc. Little things to pass the time and soothe away the stress

Thanks, Lisa!
That's a good idea; I just might make an article into that idea sometime!
The reason I wanted to take a more long-term approach in this series (in contrast with Quick Stress Busters) is that if a person is really stressed over long periods of time, quick stress busting will only do so much. In fact, it may not make much of a difference at all because the root of the stress is likely not being addressed. So quick stress busting my only treat the symptoms temporarily, while a person continues to find them self stressed out to the max.
Over the long haul, that will wear down the entire body including mental outlook and health. Positive self talk and mental outlook usually means positive emotions which in turn helps the body.
And I really need to take some of my own medicine. LOL :rolling:

Btw, with that aggravating "congrats" jumping banner now accompanying the Stress Relief series (and many Bell pages), we're all gonna need stress relief!
