Greetings!

I've just posted an article called Fortune In A Coffee Cup. Youve no doubt heard of divining tea leaves. Now, you can learn how to divine coffee grounds--and decipher the meaning of the dregs!

http://www.bellaonline.com/articles/art20611.asp

Have you ever used tea-leaf divination, or used coffee grounds? Have you known someone who did? What was your experience? Any stories?

I'd love to hear them!

Never heard of it, but it sounds like fun, maybe I'll try it. Heather

Before I got married I had my tea leaves read. It was really interesting. And the lady was fairly accurate. She did say that we would have a VERY difficult first 3 years of marriage and boy was she right! (we divorced at 3 yrs and 2 months)

Hello everyone!
Wow, this is SOOOO interesting! I've never actually tried reading coffee drags, but after looking through this article I thought I might as well try. This was unbelievable! I do not no yet whether the reading was accurate or not, because I've only tried it last evening, but the pictures themselves vere so clear and defined. I thought all I was going to see were just strange spots of coffee drags, but instead I got something unexpected! Well, thank you soo much for teaching me this new and wonderful method of fortune telling, Janet!

Hi Elena!

Glad you found the article and divination method fascinating (as did I!) I've not heard of it before reading Coffee Wisdom.

If you're inclined, let us know if it's been accurate and helpful for you!

I tried it yesterday but you know, I recommend using a light colored coffee cup! LOL I was using a dark one and it was hard to see the grounds because they were the same color as the cup. I think I got a butterfly though, so it was fun to try.

Hi Janet!
I'll surely let you know if the reading has turned out to be accurate. I don't know this myself yet, but I hope I'll find out soon. I've heard of reading coffee drags long before I've tried this myself. Here, in Russia, this method is much more popular than reading tea leaves. Maybe we're an Eastern country after all.
Mermaid, I would recommend using a white coffee cup.
Love,
Elena

Heather, you silly! LOL

Elena, the book does mention that it's more popular in Eastern countries. I hadn't heard of it before the book.

You'd think with our Boston revolt, it would be as common as reading tea leaves!
