Hello everyone! I've just read the article "Cleansing your aura" and found it very helpful. It reminded me of the question that I've always been very interested in: the colour of our aura and the way it is connected to our personality and lifestyle. Here's a link to a quiz that I've found: http://www.quizilla.com/users/azuremariposa/quizzes/What%20Is%20Your%20True%20Aura%20Colour%3F I've taken this quiz, and found out that my aura is blue. Here's what the results say about me and my personality: Blues are some of the most loving, nurturing and supportive personalities. They live from their heart and emotions. Their purpose for being on the planet is to give love, to teach love and to learn that they are loved. Their priorities are love, relationships, and spirituality. Sounds very true! And, believe it or not, blue has always been my favorite colour - I love everything that has at least a shade of blue in it, including sea, blues music and a certain perfume called "Blue". Do you think we intuitively know what the colour of our aura is? I'll be really glad to hear yor opinions on this! Love, Elena

Hi Elena!
Thanks for your feedback on the Cleansing Your Aura article.
I don't know if you caught it, but I've written a book review of What Color Is Your Aura? by Dr. Barbara Bowers: [url=BellaOnline ALERT: For anti-spam reasons, we restrict the number of URLs allowed in a given post. You have exceeded our maximum number of URLs.

Hi Elena & Janet! Thanks for posting this quiz! Quite the 'pick-me-up' I needed today... :rolling: This was my result: I feel that it's rather accurate; like you, this was instinctively one of my favorite colors when I was young. I think that we *do* realize our aura color on some level... I've also wondered about 'shadow' colors; in my case, this would be yellow, another favorite color of mine. Elena, if you have the time, would you mind posting the URL of the article (or the author/publishing info, if a book) "Cleansing Your Aura"? y

Y, I believe Elena was referring to my recent article on cleansing the aura: http://www.bellaonline.com/articles/art19212.asp

I haven't had a chance to read through your articles yet, Janet, but I did just now, take the quiz. I, too, am a *blue*. Mine: http://www.quizilla.com/cgi-bin/result/result.pl Rings true, even though I found many of the choices offered in the quiz did not accurately reflect *me*, as I see myself. Blue has always been my favourite colour, though, as far back as I can remember and I know that it is a colour that I wear well, too. It is the colour of my bedroom, a colour that calms and soothes me. I think I've heard that blue is considered a *cold* colour but in my mind, it doesn't feel *cold* in the cool, aloof sense. It reminds me of sky and ocean and the nature that I love. I'll catch up on those articles this weekend. Thanks for this! Shelley

Hi Shelley!
You're most welcome.
Indigo has always been my favorite color, so maybe there's something to the theory that color preference is connected to aura color.
As I theorized in one of those articles, though, I don't think that we're only one aura color/personality, but a mixture. In the ANSIR system which builds upon Bowers' work, there are 3 realms: Thinking/Working/Emoting. However, there is one "Boss" that propels us and defines our life purpose. Some people/colors are work/vocation driven (finding satisfaction in the Work realm...which equals a Working Boss) while others find satisfaction in personal relationships (Emoting realm...Emoting Boss.)
My highest scores are 4 of the 5 Working Styles so I definitely find my fulfillment in the Working realm in the ANSIR system.

Hi everyone! Janet, I haven't yet read your articles, but you can be sure I will! Shelley, that's exactly how I feel about blue colour! I think it's the colour of peace and eternity, and, depending on its shade, can be mysterious, tender or melancholy - can reflect almost all feelings and emotions that exist! I llllove blue! I think we Blues should organize a Blue club to spread love around the planet... Love, Elena

One more post from me... I've read your articles, Janet, and they're great, just as usual. I've also taken the test that you recommended. I still scored highest on Blue (11) - no wonder! But I also scored 10 on Sensitive Tan, which I believe is Loving Tan in your classification, and 8 on Logical Tan, which is, I guess, Mental Tan. I also have 7 in Indigo. This does make a lot of sense, since I feel that I possess some of the qualities belonging to these auras. Love, Elena
