Anyone checking out Nick Cage's new flick?

I haven't yet, but my inner Sean Bean fan keeps bugging me....

We caught it last night, it was very good. All the four of us enjoyed it. I found it a little predictable and did find myself a little board a few times. Well worth seeing though.

Yes, Sean Bean is good in it.

Ok, I went to National Treasure today, caught an early matinee. I believe I was the only single woman in the theater, LOL....

Not as much of a rip-off of Indiana Jones as some reviews would make it out to be. It's interesting how they bent and dovetailed a bunch of US history facts together to weave the story. I have not talked with any history buffs to find out how much is truly right and wrong.

If you go in with a good suspended sense of belief, expecting entertainment, it does a good job at satisfying. And Sean Bean is a good villian, but then again, he's always a good villian. I'm glad he got to live thru this one for once. I guessed his character would live after pics of him and his two older daughters at the premiere were released. He once said his eldest can't stand watching him die, even though it is pretend.

I love Sean Bean, and you're right Rae he is a good villian. He's bad, he's bad, you know it...Oh sorry, musical interlude is finished.

I really want to see this movie. It's still number one here in Canada.

I like these kind of story lines. Reminds me a lot of Dan Brown's DaVinci Code in a loose kind of way.

I happen to love Indiana Jones. Saw it 25 times when it was in the theatre and have it on VHS. I wish Harrison Ford never aged.

I'm really looking forward to seeing this movie too. The previews look excellent, just haven't had a chance to see it yet.

What were your reactions to this one? I would be so interested in seeing a sequel-- I feel as though the Founding Fathers gave so many clues, the Free Masons have such a history of "lore"... what is your thought?

That movie is good. That's one of those that I thought would be bad so it took me a while to give it a try. I still haven't seen the sequel.
