Hello,
Below is an email code written in ASP in order to send a welcome email to users. It does work fine with all type of domain names except with hotmail and possibly with Yahoo and AOL which I did not try yet.
My server's domain name is hosted with DYNIP. I'm using IIS4.0 with NT 4.0 as the O.S.
Genesis in the objMail.From line is the name of my computer, although I'm not sure if it has to be an email address instead of a computer name.
One thing I've noticed is that all emails sent to hotmail are stucked in the queue and terminate their travel in the badmail folder after Time-out.
Is there a particular Setup to do server-side in order for those emails to go through? - I've tried longer time-out and hops with no success up to now.

'EmailConfirm subroutine send an email to the user to confirm his or her
'database registration.
Sub EmailConfirm
Dim objMail
Set objMail = Server.CreateObject("CDONTS.NewMail")
objMail.Importance = 2
objMail.To = Session("UserEmail")
objMail.From = "Genesis"
objMail.Subject = "Confirmation"
objMail.Body = "Here goes the message text sent to the user."
objMail.Send
Set objMail = Nothing
End Sub

Thanks a lot for even any smallest hint.
