Who are you hosting with, and what are your thoughts?

BellaOnline is hosting with dantor.com and is very happy with them. We've gone through probably 8 different ASP hosting firms in the past year and have bad and good luck over those months. We've been with Dantor for 2 months so far and it's been smooth sailing.

Just an update, it turns out that the server would go down randomly and dantor would NEVER be around to answer the phone or email or anything when it happened. We would just have to wait a few hours and HOPE the site would return. They wouldn't even contact us afterwards to tell us what went wrong!

After 5 times of this happening I couldn't take the stress, and we have moved to a new server. This one appears to be steady, so far ...

This one is now best-machine.com.

Lisa,

I just started trying to learn more about ASP (via your ASPisFun website). I found a cool free hosting provider, while I'm learning.

The company is www.1asphost.com. They also have tutorials there as well.

Hi there,

This is my first post here and only now I've notice the headline 'Bellaonline - The voice of women'. erm... I'm a male. Can I post here ? <img src="/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" />

Concerning the question: my website has been hots by www.m6.net for the last 4 months and till now I'm happy with them. They answered to all my queries in about 24 hours. Let's hope they keep this way, because it's hard to find reliable hosts.

Good luck with best-machine.com

m6.net looks like a pretty good deal at $31.25/month for SQL and 40 gig/month of bandwidth! My concern would be that they don't list how much SQL server database space you can have. If you really only get 4 gig of storage for all your web files, web images AND your SQL database, that can be gobbled up quite quickly. But it sounds great for smaller sites!
