do u use ur upper arm strength alot? im 22 but i have to use no more than 8 lbs, due to wrist surgery from 5 yrs ago. i lost most of my strength and havent been able to get it back. id start with something u feel comfortable with. maybe a 6-10 lbs, since u havent bowled in yrs. if u have a chance to practice, get a few diffeent weights from bowling alley. start with the lightest, and work ure way up. but becareful, as to not pull anything or hurt yourself. im not saying that to be ignorant. my mom, dad, brother and now sister have ben on bowling leagues. each one is different. good luck and have fun...hope ill be active as i get older...

I would personally recommend an ebonite fire or ice at about 10 - 12 pounds depending on what you are comfortable with. This ball would allow you to throw straight down the second arrow at a reasonable speed and should still give decent reaction. That way, you wouldn't have to try to chunk the ball, you could just roll it down about second arrow (maybe different for you depending on oil pattern) and still get decent ball reaction. Congratulations on still bowling at that age Good Luck
