BellaOnline Forums Education History Anniversary of September 11

How has your life changed since September 11? Do you have any special plans with family, friends, or coworkers to reflect on the events of that sad day?

My family and I will be helping my parent's celebrate their 30th anniversary, my dad's 56th birthday, and my youngest's 4th birthday at Disney World.

September has other sad memories for us. We lost a child on Sept. 12, 2001, and we'll be remembering & honoring Aaron as well.

Oh Meg I'm so sorry to hear about your loss. I wish you healing and strength. I'm also sending (((hugs)) your way.

You know... I never wake up before 9 am.. NEVER! but that morning for some reason I woke up about five minutes before it happened. So I saw the entire thing on the news. Anyway, I think that it's really amazing how an act of such violence could bring so many people together! There is a store right down the street called colonial flag. They have been sold out of american flags since it happened. As soon as they come in... out they go again!
