ROFL!!! I'm so so sorry Kitty! I have been a little overwhelmed the last couple of days.

As a matter of fact, it's official today, I am now carrying coffees, teas and gourmet goodies with my sundries and soap biz. My first shipment arrived today. Now if I can just keep my fingers out of the coffee bin. They are sooooooo good!

Let me see if I can find you a really good and tough trivia question.

Today's Question:

In 1632 Charles I granted letters patent to the Society of Soapmakers of Westminster, granting them a 14-year monopoly of the production of certain types of soap IN RETURN FOR payment of 4 per ton.

They promised to provide the Crown with 5,000 tons of soap annually - thus, they received a monopoly in exchange.

I may have gotten my dates mixed up.....1631 was the incorporation date for the Soapmakers of Westminster and 1632 was when Charles I granted the monolopy and patent by letters. Maybe...
