We don't get a ton of treaters here so I'll be sure to choose candy I enjoy myself, to eat the leftovers

I wonder if most adults do that, choose candy that they love!

I sure do pick out what I like.. who do you think has to finish it off? It's very hard to stick with a diet in around the winter holidays!

We're going to a Trunk-or-Treat at a local church. The kids will come home with more candy than if we canvassed an entire neighborhood and we feel it's much safer.

Here's the secret: after the kids go to bed we go through and clean out most of the candy and hide it. Then we'll use it as treats for eating a good meal or doing good deeds. The older kids have figured it out but the little boys don't have a clue that more than half of the candy has taken a walk.

I really can't stand to watch them sit down and pig out on candy. The big kids have caught on to this too so they also keep watch on the little boys with candy. My son made himself really sick one year by sneaking candy after I told him to stop and he's never forgotten it.

Not my parents. They always got the big bags of Smarties, dum-dums and bubble gum, when I know for a fact that my mother's weakness is Hershey's kisses. I haven't yet lived in a place where there are a lot of treaters, but when I do, it will be peanut butter cups for sure.

I'm actually going to be in NYC for Halloween this year, at a rehearsal dinner. Ya think the bride and groom to be would be mad if I showed up in costume? I'm sure there will be plenty of time afterwards to see how NYC celebrates Halloween.

I was in Paris for Halloween once, and that was really a trip. I guess Parisians don't really celebrate it, but the teenagers there think that dressing up is a cool and American thing to do. It was fun; sometimes it just doesn't occur to me that other countries don't always celebrate the same holidays.
