A friend of mine is getting married this weekend, and she has asked me to help her with her make-up. She didn't like the woman she went to, because the makeup was overdone and not her style.

My friend has a long narrow face, her skin is pale, and she has dark brown hair with beautiful big brown eyes. She wants to use neutral colors.

I need help some tips for helping her this weekend. What shades should I go for, and how should I apply it to her eyes so that it shows up more than everyday make-up and looks nice for the wedding, but doesn't make her feel like she's just added 10 layers of stuff to her face?

Please respond...I'm nervous about this much responsibility Thanks!

put concealer on her eyelids, works 4 me. it holds the shadow on lomger. if u got time, experiment different looks. what r her best features? use mascara that adds big lashes without tons of layers. have her pick out a look she likes the best. just a thought.

my friend was to get married and we went to our local bon ton. they had a beauty advisor try different looks. maybe they could help. sorry if i seem rude, its been a long day. best of luck. let me know how u made out. :rolling:

In regards to colours for your friend in order to keep her makeup looking natural, I would suggest shades of taupes, creams, beiges and light browns.

Here are two articles for you. I hope they help!
